When I first heard about Human Trafficking in January of 2012, I was shocked. How could slavery still exist? Since it still exists, why aren’t we fighting for freedom? We probably don’t fight because it’s not our freedom that we have to worry about. I started to do some research. I found out that there are organizations (A21, Love146, Not For Sale) that have aftercare programs and are on the lookout for traffickers. I wish I could be out there stopping it. I wish I could be pulling those young woman and children out of those situations, but I can’t. I am too young. That isn’t going to stop me, and I pray it doesn’t stop YOU as well.
